Sow True Seed in Asheville, NC from pixiespocket.comThanks for your patience as things develop here at the Pixie household…good news coming soon!

In the meantime, here’s a few things that caught my interest and might get yours, as well!

First off, if you aren’t familiar with Sow True Seed, allow me to introduce you!

Sow True Seed helps me out quite a bit, as their seeds are open-pollinated and non-hybrid, untreated vegetable, herb and flower seed. They specialize in heirloom, certified organic, and traditional Appalachian varieties. That helps me know that the plants I’m investing in are set to thrive in the climate of Western North Carolina.

My day job doesn’t have parking provided, so I often have to wind through the back streets of downtown Asheville to find a free spot to leave my truck.

Every now and then, I get to snag a spot nearby Sow True Seed! Their raised bed gardens offer nasturtiums, dill, chamomile, and other beautiful veggie and herb plants, and I enjoy nibbling as I go past in the morning and evening.

Aww, thanks Chris! Y’all’s nasturtiums are the first I’ve ever tasted. Peppery doesn’t even begin to describe it, it was exhilarating! 🙂 One day I’ll try to stop in during business hours. Thanks for the comment!
