Cross your fingers for me, jerky's going into the dehydrator!
I haven't made jerky in YEARS, but I have been needing lots of high-protein snacks because of the pregnancy. I found a nice chuck shoulder roast at the store on sale, and trimmed off some lovely, non-fatty pieces to marinade and dehydrate, and cooked up the rest. This baby LOVES meat. 😀
